SPICY MISO SAUCE

Ingredients
- 500 g of white miso paste
- 200 ml of mirin
- 200 ml of sak
- 80 g of caster sugar
- 20 g of Shichimi (7 spices)
- 50 ml of chili oil
- 50 ml of sesame oil
- 30 ml of water
Step 1
Mix the miso paste, sugar and water together in a saucepan and heat.
Step 2
Add mirin, sake and then add spices and oils.
Step 3
Mix together until you have a smooth sauce.
To go with eggplant skewers.
