INGREDIENTS

Chicken leg meat 67%, coating (wheat and rice flours, tapioca starch, thickener: modified starch E1420, salt, garlic, onion, pepper, ginger, celery), soy sauce (water, soya, wheat, salt, sugar), palm oil, thickeners ( modified starch E1412,xanthan gum E415), spice: ginger, garlic, sugar, flavour enhancers ( monosodium glutamate E621, disodium 5-ribonucleotide E635), raising agents ( sodium tripolysphosphate E451i, disodium diphosphate E450i, sodium bicarbonate E500ii), salt, yeast extract, antioxidant (sodium erythrobate E316), emulsifier ( acetic ester of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids E472e), colouring: paprika extract E160c

PREPARATION

Microwave
Place 3 frozen karaage in a suitable container.
Heat at 900W for 1 min 30 to 2 mins.
Oven
Pre-heat your oven to 200°C (gas mark 7).
Place the frozen karaage on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Heat in the middle of the oven for 12 to 13 mins.
Deep fryer
Heat the oil to 180°C and fry the karaage for 3 to 4 mins.
